Volkswagen Caddy MPV 2.0 TDI 122 5dr DSG [7 Seat] Review
Category: Van-based MPV
Section: Version review
Has an excellent safety rating and is decent to drive, but it's very expensive considering how poor the interior is and that an identical Ford Tourneo Connect is thousands less and better equipped. Performance and refinement are worse than the similarly priced VW Touran too.
The trim
See full equipmentThe entry-level Caddy comes with climate control, cruise control, a DAB radio with Bluetooth and a host of standard safety tech. However, we’d spring for the better-specced Life trim to make it feel a little less van-like.
The engine
See full engine specsThe 120bhp 2.0-litre diesel is a little grumbly but has lots of low-down shove that makes accelerating up to the speed limit easy. It won’t be a ball of fire though, with a 0-62mph time of 11.8sec.
