Mitsubishi has confirmed that the Outlander PHEV Concept-S will be revealed at the 2014 Paris motor show, and has shown off some teaser shots for the new car.
The company says the Outlander Concept-S's design is based on a 'Sporty and Sophisticated' theme.
The standard plug-in hybrid Outlander uses a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors to produce an official economy of 148mpg and CO2 emissions of 44g/km.
Infiniti
The Infiniti Q70 saloon will make its public debut at the Paris motor show in October, the company has confirmed. The Q70 is the replacement for the M saloon, and has a number of styling and mechanical upgrades.
On the styling front, new LED headlights and tail-lights, along with redesigned bumpers and front grille ape the look of the company's Q50 model.
Meanwhile, changes to the chassis and suspension are claimed to have improved refinement, while it is hoped the addition of the Q50's 2.2-litre 165bhp turbo-diesel engine will broaden the Q70's appeal in European markets.
A new feature called Around View Monitor is designed to enhance safety, which affords drivers greater visibility of potential hazards in tight situations, such as manoeuvring in carparks or when pulling out from narrow side turnings.
UK deliveries are expected to commence in December 2014, with full prices and specifications to be announced shortly.
