For
The small 69bhp 1.0-litre engine is well suited to urban environments, and its outstanding manoeuvrability makes it a very able companion in cities. Parking and turns in the road are a doddle to execute thanks to its miniscule turning circle.
With five doors, a well-sized boot, lots of storage compartments and room in the back for adults, this is a much more practical incarnation of the Twingo than previous generations, and one of the most practical hatchbacks in its class.
Against
It’s a capable city car, but it lags behind rivals in terms of refinement and comfort. So while it’s well suited to big cities, these pitfalls could get to drivers on longer journeys on motorways.
Should I add any options?
Mid-spec Play trim brings air-con as well as a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and the free R&Go app means you can turn your smartphone into a touch screen sat-nav.
Alloys will cost you an extra £250, and if you want to spruce up the fairly bland interior then style packs can be bought for £100.
Anything else I should know?
The quoted discount includes a £250 finance deposit contribution which is conditional upon you taking out finance arranged by the dealer. If buying in cash, add £250 to the quoted price.
