The Alpine brand is owned by Renault and, in fact, the 1.8-litre inside the A110 is the same one that went in the last Renault Megane RS. So, if something does go wrong – not that they should – key parts shouldn't be too difficult to find. We haven't heard about any major issues with the A110, so just look out for the usual bits: damage to the wheels and wear on the tyres, plus any rough patches in the driving experience (that suggests something isn't mechanically sound).

Is a used Alpine A110 coupe reliable?
Being rather niche, the A110 didn't appear in our 2023 What Car? Reliability Survey and Alpine as a brand didn't, either. If we're to look to Renault to somewhat gauge the A110's reliability, though, then it should be decent, if not a little lacking. Out of 32 manufacturers, Renault placed 23rd, with a reliability rating of 90.0%.
