Find your perfect TONALE

Cars available now

The Alfa Romeo Tonale offers fun, hatchback-like handling, but that's not enough to make it stand out over its more accomplished family SUV rivals, especially when it’s priced to compete with premium rivals that have plusher and more spacious interiors. If you do buy one, we'd stick with the mild-hybrid engine and entry-level Sprint trim.

Aside from the slightly sportier styling, the main attraction of upgrading to Veloce trim will be the electronic suspension. However, given how well the Tonale rides on its standard suspension, we don’t think it’s worth the extra investment.

The mild-hybrid engine is our pick of the engine range.
