Used Car of the Year Awards 2021 winners revealed
With demand for used cars on the rise, you’ll want to know which are the best buys. That’s where our annual Used Car Awards come in...
With a hugely buoyant marketplace and record levels of demand on the forecourts, it feels like we’re now living in a golden age for used cars.
Many people have cottoned on to the fact that buying used can offer you most of what buying new can but at a greatly reduced cost. Meanwhile, others are looking for cars at the cheaper end of the market, with the aim of reducing their dependence on public transport in the wake of Covid-19.
As a result, we’ve taken care in this year’s What Car? Used Car of the Year Awards to include more affordable options, with prices in two of our categories now starting from less than £5000. However, we’ve also retained our top price points, where most cars are only a year old but still come with substantial savings on the new prices.
As always, we’ve taken all our expertise in road testing new cars and evaluating used ones at various ages and price points to bring you what we believe to be the best examples available today.
And, as part of our continuing efforts to make buying a great used car as easy and worry-free as possible, we’ve also teamed up with heycar to launch an online used car buying section to complement our roster of nearly 1000 used reviews. All of the cars for sale have been quality checked, are less than eight years old, have covered less than 100,000 miles and come with a warranty. This means that you can not only read all about your next used car on our website but safely buy it here, too.
To find out more about any of our winners and why they won, simply click on the name of the car you're interested in.
