Top 10 most reliable used family SUVs

Buying the right used family SUV is important, because you don’t want it to leave your loved ones stranded. Here are the top 10 most dependable, according to owners...

Peugeot 3008 off-road

4. Peugeot 3008 - 97.4%

Family SUVs have been a bit os a success story for most manufacturers, and the latest Peugeot 3008 is proof of this, because it has become one of the company’s most popular models. All this is great news for used car buyers, because there are plenty to choose from. They shouldn’t have to worry about any major problems, either, because all cars remained driveable and any issues were sorted under warranty. Of the issues that did crop up, 7.1% related to air-con and 3.4% apiece to the steering and bodywork.

Audi Q3

Premium SUVs don’t necessarily have to come with premium repair bills, because no owner surveyed had to pay for the repairs on their Audi Q3. All cars remained driveable, but a higher proportion of repair times that lasted for more than a week meant it couldn’t go higher in this list.

Volvo XC40 D3 R-Design

The XC40 has been a big hit for Volvo due to its practical interior, excellent level of standard safety features and classy image. But you can also add reliability to that list, because of the 10.8% of cars that had faults, most of the issues were minor and the majority of the cars remained driveable. Most problems centred around the sat-nav, fuel system and bodywork, and all were dealt with under warranty.
