Seat Ibiza 2017 review verdict and spec
We try the new 2017 Seat Ibiza for the very first time ahead of the car's launch in July. Should the class-leading Skoda Fabia be worried?...
Should I buy one?
One thing’s for sure: the new Ibiza will seriously worry the class leaders when it goes on sale in July. It might not be quite as cheap or as practical as the Fabia, but it’s close enough on both fronts to compete. And when you consider it’s more fuel efficient, better to drive and available with a more sophisticated infotainment system, it’s easy to see why you might spend the extra few hundred quid.
Of course, Seat will need to make sure it puts the right finance packages in place, and the forthcoming new Polo looks as though it has all-comers licked for interior quality. But in every other respect, the Spanish brand has another model capable of challenging for silverware.
