Promoted: Nissan’s e-NV200 – the green van that’s loads better

When it comes to improving air quality and cutting emissions, Nissan knows that commercial vehicles play as important a role as passenger cars. That’s why the 100% electric e-NV200 van blends the load-friendly features of the award-winning NV200 with the zero-emissions electric powertrain of the equally award-winning New Nissan LEAF.

In fact, the e-NV200 uses the same 40kWh battery as the New LEAF, delivering 60% more range on a single charge – or between 124 and 187 miles on the new WLTP (combined and city cycle). And, crucially, the larger battery capacity doesn’t compromise load volume for goods or passengers.

The e-NV200 is available as a configurable van with a 705kg cargo capacity, 4.2m3 of load volume and enough space for two Euro pallets. Its 52cm floor height, wide-opening rear doors and sliding side-panel doors make loading easy. There’s also the e-NV200 Combi – the first 100% electric seven-seat passenger carrier in Europe. Its clever modular seating lets you carry a mix of people and luggage, making it ideal for city-friendly taxi and chauffeur businesses.

On the road, both offer near-silent zero-emissions motoring, with city-friendly instant torque and smooth acceleration. Inside, a single-shift transmission makes driving easier and safer, while a colour reversing camera takes the stress out of parking. The NissanConnect EV app even lets you check charge level and climate control remotely from a smartphone, tablet or computer – helping you to make the most of your day.

Cutting business costs

For any business, the cost of running vehicles in cities is always increasing. That’s why running a 100% electric van or passenger carrier now makes real sense. The e-NV200 is exempt from road tax, London Congestion Charges and proposed Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) and Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) charges – which could cost £24 per day, or £5,500 per year.

Electric power is cheaper than petrol, and can be optimised by charging overnight on non-peak rates. With a 705kg capacity and its impressive range, the 40kWh e-NV200 can deliver more on each run. Its unique bi-directional charging capability, paired with vehicle-to-grid technology, even lets you feed energy back to the grid, generating revenue when not in use.

No fuel is good fuel
