So, does the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid let you have your cake and eat it? Well, that depends entirely on your situation. Company car drivers will pay much less tax than they would with the Porsche Macan, and if you’re diligent with recharging and do mainly short journeys using the electric-only range, you’ll also spend a lot less on fuel.

As good to drive as the Cayenne is, though, it won’t have you rushing to grab the keys on a Sunday morning like the Macan will. And given that the latter is so much cheaper for those buying on PCP finance, it’s the better choice for most.
