Dacia Sandero 1.0 TCe 100 Bi-Fuel Expression
You might well enjoy the meal of your life in a smart restaurant, but you’ll pay for the privilege. There’s a lot to be said for going somewhere rather cheaper, but which serves up tasty grub in big portions. The Dacia Sandero is the car equivalent of such an establishment, offering a bigger portion of car for less than you’d pay for a smaller Hyundai i10 or Kia Picanto.
The Sandero doesn’t cook up anything particularly sophisticated, but the ingredients it uses are wholesome enough. There’s more interior space than in most rivals, while fuel economy is good, and it can run on LPG, which is much cheaper than petrol. The Sandero is also decent to drive and – in our preferred trim – pretty well equipped. However, it does lag behind other small cars in the important area of safety.
Ultimately, then, the recipe served up by the Renault Clio is worth the extra if you can afford it.
